PEOPLE SAY THE EYES ARE THE WINDOWS TO THE SOUL.
WOMEN SAY LOOK INTO MY EYES,BUT STOP YOU FROM ENTERING WHEN YOU DO.

liquid pools,all smoke and mirrors
spin the heads of mental sinners
lead you in to see the beuty
then we find the gaurd on duty
the mental gaurd that minds your head
keeps a check on what is said
stops intruders looking in
through those liquid pools of sin
and picking up our inner thread
of truths that wander in our heads
I wonder if the gaurd were out
what we could find out about
the invitation from the eyes
extended, not shut down with lies

HOW DO YOU FIGHT THE ENEMY
THE ONE THAT IS WITHIN
THE ONE THAT KEEPS YOU SMOKING
OR STOPS YOU GETTING THIN
EVERY TIMEY OU FIGHT IT
IT JUST COMES BACK AGAIN
YOU KNOW THAT IF YOU LET IT
IT WILL CAUSE YOU PAIN
VOW AGAIN TO BEAT IT
TRY YOUR BEST TO CHANGE
REALLY HAVE TO CONCENTRATE
STILL YOU FIND IT STRANGE
SOME CHANGE OVERTAKES US
EFFORT NOT REQUIRED
OTHER CHANGE ELUDES US
JUST CANT BE AQUIRED
DOES THIS MEAN SURRENDER
SHOULD WE JUST GIVE IN
LET CHANGE THAT HAPPENS HAPPEN
LET THE ENEMY WIN
OR SHOULD WE JUST KEEP FIGHTING
BATTLE TO THE LAST
JUST TO STOP THE ENEMY
