well..in my opinion..the three things which i would certainly expect from my partner would be :

1) ample amount of love..she should fill my world with so much love that i never even feel any insecurity or being deprived off..

2) should be extremely understanding..should understand my viewpoints..

3) should stand by me at the worst possible situations..should lay a supporting hand on my shoulder n say "i am there with u,don't worry..whatever comes..we'll face it together n win over it" ..
