Most people I know go back and forth left and right. Depending on issue. That's fine. But I dont like and cant deal with anyone absorbed with politics. Or all the way right or left. Also anyone with politics on profile pic was instant ignore. Not dealing with it. But most people i can get along with, and agree to disagree. Aye, in some cases, the "agree to disagree" - approach works. I have people in my circle of friends, who oppose my political views. We talk about football, cats, whatsoever. Just not about politics. But a partner, who lives with yoΓΌ 24/7 ? That's a different ball game, imo |

I was married to somebody, with a completely different agenda, it didn't work. It was a clash between a biased conservative (also staunch Catholic) family versus a liberal (in all senses) family.
I am very active in politics, so for me there has to be some common ground. Not 100% agreement, but at least some common ground. Which is not possible, as soon as issues like bias and xenophobia kick in. |
