My son owns a BOOMER and I had the unforgettable pleasure of riding in his car...once. Interestingly, the music was at a respectable volume while we were on the open road at higher speeds. However, once we were in heavier, slower traffic, or sitting at a light, he would turn the bass up to a level that you could no longer hear the music at all; only the steady thumping. I'm afraid I must take all blame for not having taught him more appropriate ways of maintaining his self esteem.
