Maybe the people who have been here for a long time and they write to each other in mails and on the forums are just too used to each other and they don't really think of each other as potential dates anymore. Maybe there was a point when there was a flame, but once you go pass a point, where it just "didn't happen" , now you can't think of them as potential dates anymore.
Once you pass that point and come here and see the same old same old..they are not included in your serious list anymore. You want to get to know someone new
