Raw oatmeal with chopped bananas, slivered almonds, and yoplait yogurt. It is absolutely delicious. walnuts instead of almonds for me! yay! someone agrees with me. walnuts would be pretty good as well. with some organic milk to wash it all down. OH YEAH. Yeah, soy milk would be good, but unfortunately we don't have that:(. :( Some super targets carry the organic stuff Oh, my family doesn't like the stuff. They buy 2 % which is practically like cream in your cereal.lol. |

My theory is this: the Teapot Dome scandal wasn't as much about oil as it was about elite politics. Obviously bribes are nothing new, however, what made the Teapot Dome scandal so controversial in its day was its "big business" implications. After the rise of corporate America at the end of the 19th century, it's safe to say that there was a new type of corruption on the rise--one of corporatism, and one which has morphed into the capitalist market we have today. There was a time when the government acted merely as a steward of the free market in America, a product of our laissez fare origins. I think the Teapot Dome scandal is one of the main events in U.S. history where you see a shift away from that mentality, and the beginning of government corruption and corporate power fusing together to create a public-private partnership. Almost like Mussolini's Italy, just, ya know, without the short people and harsh rhetoric. Thank you so much for your opinion:D. I can now write the finishing touches on my paper .

I just did a google on "teapot dome scandal" got a ton of hits. Even one link comparing it to ENRON. Hmm, well I had no luck. I used my textbook instead. Thank you for your input, but if you cannot give me an opinion...please stop posting. |
