i'd love to visit new Zealand one day. imagine it pretty much like Scotland but just a little warmer
what sort of temperatures do you get in the peak of summer? I was in the usa on a road trip in October there started in seattle and went on a road trip down the pacific west coast to LA and then hopped on a play for 2 nights in new York before heading home |

and it really peaves me off when folks can't do a simple thing like answer a couple of questions to fill out their profile
how am I meant to know if our interests match or find something to strike up a conversation with if everything is blank! |
|
|
|
i'm looking for someone to keep me company. that might be through conversation online or by text or in person (preferably the latter)
a nice, decent guy who'll enjoy cuddling in bed on a lazy morning listening to the radio or joining me for a stroll through the par or at the beach needs to be someone with reasonable intelligence to hold a good conversation about a wide variety of things, loyal where it counts to his good friends and family, a bit of a romantic but with a cheeky glint in his eye is that too much to ask??? oh and guys to actually add their interests to their profile! takes 2 seconds to tick a box or write a couple of words |

here on the west coast of Scotland there has been snow, this past few days and temperatures just below freezing
I was in the usa mid October and came across temperatures of 25*c and 35*c but we are lucky if we get the lowest of these temperatures a couple of good days in the summer (july - September) |

good evening from a damp and chilly west of Scotland
I too get lonely, especially in the evening my daughter rarely leaves her room so left on my own at night quite often is pennsilvania full of autumn colour just now? we've had some strong winds here and lots of trees now bare |

yes it certainly is something different. this is only the 2nd site I've been on and this is the first night I've really sat and interacted with the community part of the site
beats the boredom a little I suppose |

so for those of you outwith Ayrshire are your communities filled up with town centre Christmas lights or households putting up decorations super early
one here in Kilmarnock put their Christmas stuff up as soon as Halloween is over! i'm lucky if mine are out the cupboard two weeks beforehand |

nice to meet a 'local' sort of
so what brings you to a dating site? |
|
|
|
is that the north east of england or Scotland?
certainly a bracing wind across that coast regardless |
|
|
|
yes my neighbours have decorations up too. far too early for me, max 2 weeks before Christmas is enough
and nothing wrong with living in a deprived area as long as you are making the best out of life |

have any of you had any luck meeting someone nice on here and / or met up with anyone?
I totally take in the point made that you can tell a person from meeting them rather than trusting what they say online but I like the fact that here I can get to know someone well before the meeting up bit just a shame that those I want to chat to say very little and the ones i'd rather not keep in touch with will reply and continue conversations |

Fed up losing out on potential love. On both this site and another I've started a good line of chat with someone nice, get to know them better and one day - boom. They've deactivated their account!
I've never given out my number but have linked up via email or Kik (once we've chatted on site for a while first) then they just disappear. I may not like those that message me but I let folk down gently if I can. Hate ignorance. If you don't want contact say so!!!! |

good evening all
i'm a mature(ish) lady looking for a wee blether to brighten up the boring and lonely moments in life no expectations, no barriers. just NO INTIMATE TALK or asking folk out on dates etc so grab a coffee, get comfy and join in the chat let's kick start it what is your favourite and / or least favourite thing about this time of year and why? I love autumn - the colours of the leaves, the change in the air, the shop windows shining bright as it darkens earlier outside I do miss have someone to spend cosy evenings in with or holding each other close while we walk hand in hand along the beach or through the park |
