Not a lot of laughs for the pigs Tim, but they weren't invited to the booze-up after either. They were there of course, sort of "guests of honour". Itrust the day has treated you all kindly (must be Friday night!)
Yep. It's Friday night!

Hello Jayne, seems Vivian has gone all shy on us, so the answer is ,(a) not for the squeamish, &(b), potatos for 2 nights, & on the third night, the potatos are fitted up with detonators. This offers the pigs instant dental work & survivors have a major migraine problem. It's all quite simple really, provided the tree huggers don't get to hear of it.
Tim can go down to Daniels Park where he lives & find some laying around. That's how you'll get them---no problem. Hi Jerry

Hi Tim Is it true? I read a few pages back that you met a woman! Do you have a date? When is it? To quote Jayne: Inquiring minds want to know!

Not entirely certain Deb, I think it was a spar used for telling time & used in conjuction with a sextant, to guess where the ship was. Prolly before morse code & GPS
That makes sense. GPS systems wouldn't have been there!

Seems I'm here to early........ Tiz ok, I shall return. In the meantime, it's over the yard arm somewhere, so
Hi Ray! How's it going in shaky city? What's the yard arm?
An old sailing expression Deb, back when all ships were sailing ships, the sailors weren't allowed to break out the rum, till the sun was over the yard arm. This was around midday apparently. I maybe old, but I'm not old enough to remember the details first hand! Thanks for telling me. I don't think you're old enough to remember those details either. Now for another question: what's a yard arm? I already asked that!

I am usually invited to at least one every summer. They are big around here and you are right---drinking is required! Do they have pig roasts here in PA, Jayne? I never heard of them being here! |

Good morning, Carol. One of the residents who I call my little buddy taught me a new word this morning; "Stackadoodle". The new DON is cleaning house with the people who call in so much. It pays to pray before I go to work. Because we have understanding nurses one of them agreed that residents in their right mind have the right to refuse service just like any other place of business. No reason for me to argue with that as it just makes my job easier. I had a good night even with inflamed hemorrhoids. I hope everyone is having a good day.
Maybe the new DON will make the home a better place to work & get care. I'm glad I don't have your problem right now!

I was curious to see if any of my fellow over 50 minglers are having difficulty meeting their life long partners or even great friends. My experience has been less than fruitful but there is always hope. I've made some good reinds on Mingle. People to date or to have companionship with? Nope!
