Thats good Deb, with Jayne moving this weekend she doesn't need that extra burden. You're right there. Hope her move went fine! Haven't seen this pic of you & the bear for awhile. I forget what kind of bear you said it was. Kodiak I think? |

I was wondereing if Jayne got hit as well I wouldn't be suprised. I hope all she got was rain like I did. One of my sisters lives in her area & we haven't heard anything about them getting flooded. Oh, I'm in central PA & I guess you know that Jayne's in eastern PA.

Hi Deb
Are you in the part of Pa that was hit by flooding? Hi Betts! I was close to it but didn't get hit. All I got was a full day of rain. I'll bet Jayne got a lot more than me. From what the weather map showed, the further east you were the more you got & she's east of me. I feel for the folks in New England. They seem to have caught the brunt of it!

How are you today Deb? I'm fine today. It's a beautiful fall day-not to hot & not to cold. Just the right kind of day to go out somewhere. I went out to the mall & to make things more perfect there wasn't alot of people there! I didn't have to play 'dodge the people' since I had to take the power chair. How are you today?
Power chair? Deb, you're only 58...what's wrong? I must have missed something somewhere
I have Multiple Sclerosis, Viv. I use a walker for aid in walking & for long distances, I have to use a power chair. As much as I hate to admit it, that thing has really given me my independence back. I can go to rummage sales, go shopping & everything now. I was pretty well stuck with just the walker. I'm sorry Deb, I didn't mean to be rude by asking, I really didn't know The power chairs are wonderful. They def can change your life and way of living, all for the better!
Don't worry, Viv. You weren't rude & sure don't mind questions. Anyway, if you can't ask a friend questions, who can you ask?
That's true enough!
You know what I want to do Viv? I'd like to find a MS approved horse stable around here. I'd love to be on a horse again! It's supposed to be good for MS too. I'll bet there is one around somewhere. I know they have them for physically challenged people in Co. Horses can help a lot of people for different reasons, ranging from just stress to quadriplegics. Yep. For MS it's good for hand-eye coordination, balance, spasticity, etc. For me it would be re-finding a long, lost love!
You know, if one had the funding...that would be a great business to get into. And it would make so many people happy! |
