Baby cakes, if you think you are busy now just wait till your kids are
teenagers...then the fun really begins...that's what's so difficult
about an empty nest. I enjoy the peace and quiet after so much "drama"
all the time, but it's so weird not having that constant rush to get
things done...ot to go somewhere or take care of something or someone.
Anything and everything but myself...for sure.

as far as feeling old...I'm staying young forever!! When everything
starts to go...I'm saying buckle me up Sam! Seriously tho, it's a huge
transition. It's exciting though in a lot ways...and I thnk I feel and
look better or maybe it's just that I have more confidence in myself,
either way, I like myself a whole lot better than I did then and am a
lot stronger person. I like the sense of being "sure" of who I am...not
necessarily sure of where I want to go, but sure of who I am.

I have had trouble getting used to not having a "routine" and all the
responsiblities that I had that kept all the focus off of me. It's been
a difficult adjustment. Sometimes I feel like I have this knot in my
stomach...like I know there is something I should be doing but I'm not
and I feel guilty. I guess you really start to evaluate your life
deeply at this point and assess whether it's what you want it to be and
if it's heading where you really want it to go. Things that were once
important to me are not so important anymore....It is definetly a
metemorphis of sorts...It's scary

As you can see by my profile I am 39. Everyone says life begins at
forty...I'm wondering is this true? My kids are grown, I'm now divorced
and free to do whatever whenever I choose...and it's exciting, but also
very intimidating. I'm not used to not having something or someone to
look after and having on the focus on myself again. It's very scary.

I work for a very professional, successful corporation - to which there
are some Hispanics in upper management. They are very classy,
intelligent, well dressed, educated individuals. I am also proud to
call them my friends.

In my world Skin is Skin - it holds your insides in. As far as that
last reply - those attributes you described can be found in all races
all creeds all walks of life and are not isolated to any specific
culture, religion or race!! Look around you - you will find those types
of men an all walks not just Hispanic.
