I enjoy both the book and movie versions when they come out in theaters. I usually try to think of them as separate entities rather than the same story portrayed in different media. If I think the movie's going to be as good as the book was, I'm usually at least a little bit disappointed. There's just something about a great book that the silver screen can't capture fully. I think it's great that there have been some good comic book/book adaptations, but I'm always a little bit skeptical when I buy my ticket and go to the theater.
