For those who have had an encounter with GOD, and yes, I have had many encounters with so-called gods (little 'g'), you know it to be the real one, like when you compare Kraft Dinner with a knock-off grocery store brand. There is no comparison.
God proves his existence to you individually. You can't then go and prove it to someone else, except by leading a life of example and recovery from a broken life, etc. It's up to each of us to ALLOW God to prove His existence, His will and His love for us. All this "prove it to me" stuff got stale back in the middle ages. I can't prove to you how something tastes, can I? No, you taste it too, and then we have roughly a common experience of Faith that potatoes won't taste like chocolate next week. Hmmmm... chocolate potatoes.... |
