I have to agree with Duffy...........we are all creatures of "Habit", some good, some not so good.

I would say take it slow, and look for signs that this is not his pattern, or yours. Rushing into this relationship, after just leaving another, does not sound good to me. In love with someone you never met in person, and only know via email for a short time ? It's possible, but not likely. How can you truly be in love with someone if you don't know them? The image that most people put on over the internet is far different than the person they really are.

You're in love with a concept, not an actual person. First, it is not the individual that you think you are in love with, it is "Your Imagination", "Your Image", the way "You" hear words being spoken to you, the expressions, the emotions that "You" add into written words. By all means, if the individual has taken responsibility for his or her wellness and is in treatment for their depression and managing to function just fine, there is no reason for you not to date her.

Many people with Depression who are in treatment are able to live full, mentally and emotionally balanced lives as long as they keep up with their treatment. But if they are clearly not coping, if life for them is a daily struggle and they have not found stability through therapy and medication, it is almost certainly guaranteed that you will not be able to develop a healthy relationship with them. Therefore, to proceed with dating them would be ill advised.

No......, it does not sound totally crazy. It really does sound like you are unsure about getting together with him as a couple, then it would probably be best not to move forward with him. Maybe it's your, "Women's Intuition", trust it.

Be honest with yourself, by keeping your feelings in perspective so that his immense love is not just "Guiltying" you into staying with him.

Obviously, your feelings for him are not the same, as his feelings for you. Otherwise, you would not be questioning yourself. I think he is on a "Love-Drug-High" or has the "Love-Bug" at the present time. Meaning, when a person throws around the "I Love You's" so quickly, and early in a relationship, it usually means that they are under the spell of the "Love Chemical". The chemical reaction in the brain does eventually even out and the reality of the relationship will come into focus for the both of you.

Also keep these words in mind, "Controlling, Jealousy, Unsecured, Un-Matured, and Obsessive Behavior", they may or may not, play a part in your situation.
