The truth definitely. Been in that position and didn't like it when the truth came out later.....

12 years ago, when I bought my house, I remember saying a little prayer that if I got this house, I would give shelter to others when they were down on their luck. I have done this 5 times. Many times during those years, I would find myself in a position where the house needed some kind of repairs I could not afford, trees trimmed, etc.
EVERY time something happened I could not do myself...... the universe brought someone into my life who helped me with it! |

-as a teenager in the 80s....thumbing (hitchhiking) to beach with friend -2 snotty girls drive by on Vespa saying..."You'll never get a ride you $%&^$*^ Hippies" -(TRUE STORY)...a Limo pulls over & this black guy leans out and says, "You guys know where all the black girls are around here. -We proceed to tell him that he is in a "snotty" WASP neighborhood. -He asks if we have any.....(CONTRABAND AND CENSORED)!!! -We say "ya"....hop into the Limo......catch up to the snotty girls on Vespa......Pop out with smoke through the sunroof.... wave and say......."Aaaaah,we got our ride." -"Teddy's" boss visited with her friend randomly through the next 8 months and we would get a limo ride to the beach. AWESOME.

That IS superficial....... and if someone thought I needed $700 maintenance a month to be acceptable to them..... who needs them? They are focused on all the wrong things and are missing my other wonderful qualities!

Too long of a story........I'll try the readers digest version. -End of my rope...$10 to my name -See homeless man with sign, while exiting freeway -I say FV<K it and get "2" sandwiches while waiting for friend to get off of work. -Drop off sandwich on the way home -Get home to a $329.00 check from IRS for underpayment and call back message for a job interview Great story Beachfarmer! |
