The walk

I've been told in the past I got very strong eyes. So much so that if they'd see me in a pub they'd never even dare approach me. Why the hell do you think that look is there? It's not always like that. I've also gotten proposals because my eyes, hihi. They are one of my best points for sure, normally speaking friendly and sparkling like crystals. But I can cast lethal looks, hihi. . . . |

I haven't heard this in a while but it seems I walk like I'm going to kick someone's asx. lol I'm talking with a friend of my neighbor about an old car project when he mentioned it. Anyone else have a slightly out of kilter (habit?} FYI I have never been in a fight other than self defense training. I walked with a limp since 1974 when I was T boned in my '67 GTO by a guy in a '69 Road Runner, it left me with one leg an inch longer than the other. Just that alone caused some fights but usually it was my friends POed because someone was making fun of my walk. Aside from that I've been in a ton of fights; I spent 30+ years in every club, roadhouse and bar in the SE US. Most places all I had to do was open my mouth and everyone knew I was a Yankee, my g g g grandfather was one of the 3 big religious leaders for the confederacy and Nebraska wasn't a state until 1867, two years after the war was over so I never considered myself a Yankee, But often times it would be at closing time and someone who was looking for trouble would remember that "big Yankee" and a lot of them wouldn't quit or talk sense so the fight would be on. Now often times I'd be saved by whoever I was there working with/for and they of course were good ol' born and raised southern boys and as soon as they'd say "hey he's with us" most of the time that would be the end but not always. I was raised to never start a fight but never back down from one either. My dad was a Korean war Marine and had a lot of training and more experience at hand to hand combat and I used to be a pretty big guy (now there's Jr High school kids bigger than I ever was). Now days there's so much less bar fight/parking lot fighting that happens and so much more cop involvement it just doesn't happen like it used to which first might seem like a good thing but the effect it's had is now people in those situations tend to be more obnoxious and run their mouths more because they know they can get away with it! My daughter who is almost 16 restrains me often from saying things that might start a fight; she just tells me to calm down and think about how old I am and my health problems and I know she's right. It hasn't happened yet but I sure would hate to get my azz kicked by some kid and she's right again about that; when you're 64 you can't be fighting with 24 or 34 year old kids. I was out about a year ago and got into a small skirmish; I just happened to be in the right place at the right time to see this couple dancing and just as I was walking by he slapped her hard and waited a few seconds and then backhanded her and knocked her to the floor, I just reacted the way I always would have without thinking about it first and then he and I were "dancing" for a bit but the bouncers showed up and grabbed him so that was the end of it. Sorry, think I've been having another flashback and got carried away Well I think the world would be better off if people had to backup the things that come out of their mouths they way it should be. |

I never got any P51 time but have a couple hours in the BT17 Stearman which was the primary trainer for the Mustang and that era fighters. Maybe one day.

Flirting ...

The ones that make eye contact are usually the young ones, practicing flirting maybe. The strange ones are the ones that rub my upper arm and then disappear into the crowd. IDK LOL Then there was a friends sister that just walked up and grabbed a handfull and said what she had on her mind, sadly she just didn't light any fires. My luck LOL

I bought a house where a young teenaged boy died when climbing a tree, he touched a power line that was hiding in the tree.

Have you ever been stalked?

Had a neighbor that liked to show off her pink nighty, often left the curtains open when I was out in my yard. Her ole man got it tired of it and boarded up the window. LOL

Once when out hunting I could hear something behind me, guessing it was a bobcat. Women run the other way. So... as long as you don't attract men... or grizzlies, you should be doing quite okay then. Concerning stalking of course. I did hike out to see a waterfall in AR, on the way out I noticed the watch out for bear signs. |
