IS THIS GLOBAL WARMING?

To uk1971. When did you think hailstorms happen. They form high up in supercell thunderstorms. Hail does not come in the winter, at least not in the northern hemisphere, that is caused by cold temperatures on the ground and in the air,
In a supercell, the updraft is strong enough to water droplets 60,000ft up. Pretty cold way up there. These waterdroplets connect with water droplets and eventually the hail stone is too big and down they come Freezing rain and ice pellets have a different type of cloud, these in the winter do not become supercells. That is part of global warming and that is WTF is going on. |
