One last point <I'm a talker, not a typist!> before I prep for the onslaught. . .
There are a few of us who would love to get to the point in a relationship where it's time for love talk, and marriage thoughts Before having carnal knowledge, But, without much of that interest seems to wain . . .
Personally I had several very interesting, fun, deep, and personal telephone conversations before my latest date. After a week of silence we spoke again - she thinking I didn't like here because 'you never touched me' ! Huh?!
Oh, I won't go into the ex who wanted to have a sex on demand relationship . . .

Ok, I just have to stick my 2cents in . . .
my response is usually a brief 'good, <this or that is going on>, what are you up to' or something else to encourage and extend the type conversation that the question was meant to elicit.
Empty, casual sex is just as boring and ultimately unfulfilling to some guys <I guess - I can't possibly be that different from all my gender kin!>.
Your responses beg me to wonder then about the bad boy attraction some <most?> women have.
Why does 1st date octopus man get the call backs that the gentleman <until I at least know you better ;-) >has to make?
