I first got the internet back in 2001, although I had been online at my mates house , via his computer, for a few years, this was the first time i actually had an internet connection and computer myself.

The very first person i spoke to was in a chatroom for a band i like, and it was a girl from germany. We would talk for hours online and then progressed to phone calls.

She invited me over to meet her, and i booked a flight , then she got cold feet the night before and told me not to come over.

She changed her mind a few weeks later and i the end i met her, but as soon as we saw eachother, that chemistry we had online, just was not there anymmore
