I am in Dallas. Grew up in Houston (Clear Lake).

I didn't mind the people, but I didn't like the town. Family is there though.

The people lobbying for the illegals complaining about not getting what they want. Wow, I couldn't see that one coming...

I feel for the people in Mexico that are living in slums.
I feel for the people of Darfur.
I feel for the single mother trying to feed her kids.

I dont feel for people coming in illegally.
I dont feel for the people killing other for whatever reason.
I dont feel for the single mother that goes into a grocery store that is caught stealing food.

There are other things that can be done without resorting to criminal acts.

"Do you know how hard is to be called a criminal when most of them are
very honest people?"

Honesty and crimes usually are not associated traits.

I have never heard of someone that got robbed being thankful they was told they would not be hurt by the person robbing them. (Yes I concede robbery is far worse then crossing illegally.) The point remains.

If they are so honest, why didn't they let the US know they was coming, why don't they tell their employers they are here illegally instead of using false documentation to work, I can go on and on about things of this nature showing how even though they may be good people, not bothering anyone etc... but how they are still not being honest.

(Just actually read what had been posted, didnt read when I made my earlier reply as I didnt have time.)

Yes fanta, your right, I had looked at a site and should had known to go to the loc, although I still feel it encourages them. It should be if you come illegally and are caught, you are guaranteed to never be allowed to come back legally.

You got it wrong.

Houstonians don't suck, Houston sucks.

TLW, I hate to say it, but it will encourage more to come if we just
allow them to stay.

Last time we let them stay, we are where we are now. At least this time
they have to pay a fine and then reenter, but it still shows people
coming in illegally once they make it, they are here for good.

Again if we need more people to work, we can allow the ones that have
been waiting years to get here legally, in. Instead of letting the ones
crossing illegally come back before the ones already waiting.

It just sends the wrong message to people crossing illegally (if you
make it, you make it) and the wrong message to the people waiting (don't
wait, just cross and get here faster.)

First try to reinstall Windows Installer. Download from microsofts site
if needed at

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=889482FC-5F56-4A38-B838-DE776FD4138C&displaylang=en

If that dont work try this, but be careful, you can mess stuff up easily
in the registry, and no cleaner will "fix" this due to it being a valid
key under some conditions. EX. Any patches or programs that should not
really be removed. If in doubt, leave it alone! Dont use this to change
the registry where you can uninstall patches etc.. that should not be.
There is a reason some of them are set the way they are, its because it
will crash your system if they are removed.

Don't play around in here, you have been warned. I goof around in it,
but I am willing to reinstall windows and lose everything
on my drive, and have done so many times (I change/delete stuff without
bothering to back it up, and in some cases, saving the key would had
done me no good anyway).

Go to start, run, and type in regedit, click ok.

Once in the registry, (All of these will be in the left pane, you may
have to scroll down in some places) click on "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE", then
click on "SOFWARE", then click on "Microsoft", then click on "Windows",
then click on "CurrentVersion", then click on "Uninstall".

Under this key will be a list of all the programs that windows installer
is aware of. Locate the application your wanting to uninstall and click
that.

On the right hand pane, see if there is a item name listed as "NoRemove"
with the number under the "Data" column as "1"

If there is, select it, then choose File, and export, and save it
anywhere you want, but remember where you put it just in case (changes
or deletions to this key is not going to cause you to crash though).

Right click "NoRemove" and choose "Modify", change the "1" to a "0".

Leave the registry open for now.

See if the button for what you want to uninstall is available. If it is,
close the registry editor, and then uninstall.

If it still is not available, then right click "NoRemove" and choose
"Delete" and tell it yes to the warning (for some reason, sometime just
changing the value will not add the button back, but this is the key
that is controlling what options are available).

At this point there should be nothing preventing the button from not
coming up. If its still not avialable, you got problems elsewhere as
well or some program you have is preventing it.

After the program is removed, you can delete the file you saved, as the
entire structure under the applications name will be removed during the
uninstall. Thats how to get rid of programs listed that are no longer on
the system that someone just deleted the folder off the drive. Just
deleting the entire key will NOT uninstall it, it just will no longer be
listed in add/remove programs.

Hope it helps.

Yes, 5-10 years older is fine, 10 is pushing it a little though. Earlier
in life I would not even consider dating a younger person. Mainly due to
their maturity or rather their lack of it (at least the ones I knew).

Yeah, its nice they are getting some of them. We probably are dependent
to some degree on foreign workers. They should still be paid at least
minimum wage, and not hired in cheaper because they are illegal.

Instead of rewarding the people that broke the law just to enter they
should be deported. Any that are identified, send them home. The current
immigration bill is trash. If we need more workers, let the people
trying to enter legally in, and if needed, allow more to come. You know,
the ones that haven't broke any laws?!?!?

If I get and don't pay a speeding ticket I will go to jail, because they
know where I live. If an illegal gets and don't pay they probably wont,
since most use false information.

I am in now way a racist or any thing else, I don't care if they are
brown, yellow, white, orange, or even purple, if they are legal fine, if
not put them on a bus and drop them off several hundred miles from their
border. Don't understand why US taxpayers are responsible for getting
them all the way home when we are not the ones that got them here in the
first place.
