Or do you just want to play silly games? Ok let me give you a point of view, based on my observations. There are 3 categories here on mingle 2 1. Very active women on the forums, who talk and chit-chat, but they aren't really looking for anyone. 2. There are the ones who are looking for the "one". Of course the person they are looking for doesn't exist. They are really looking for either Brad Pitt or Matthew McConaughey, but one day perhaps they realize, that those sort of people don't really look for dates on a free-for all mingle dating sites. Some of these also belong to either group number 1 (above) or group number 3. (below). 3. And then you got this massive amount of women, who never post anything on the forums, or maybe once or twice at most. For them, you can type your fingers off or send 10 thousand nudges, they won't respond. If you have seen the movie "I am Legend" with Will Smith, they are pretty much like those mannequins he put into the DVD store to talk to, or the Chinese clay army, who line up and all have a face but you would have a similar success trying to make them talk. I fall into category 4. I'm not looking for any kind of relationship and just sign on for the forums. If there was a talk/email category on the pull down menu, Ii would of chosen it. But there is not so I chose friendship. Blame the site for not giving more choices. It lacks in a lot of categories as far filtering out why someone is here and who they want to converse with. As far as all the women looking for Brad Pitt, I want to know what he ever did to the men on a dating site that bring him up constantly???? Do you know him? Did he personally do something to you? Poor guy gets blamed for so much because of the men that can't find a date on a dating site. I personally, wouldn't date him because he has a litter of small children and he looks like a billy goat lately. So please, stop blaming Brad for you not getting a date or a response. BTW, you mention nudges, they are stupid. That's why nobody is nudging you back. Hope this helps. |

Ok there is this one guy I started talking to a while ago, after a while I came to realize he is not my type at all. I let him know that we can be friends but nothing more, I don't see him like that. So what does he do? Adds me to facebook, his yahoo IM an will not stop texting me!!!  Why do people do this.
I did not know he was like this. Why do they do this? You gave him your info, he didn't get it on his own. Did he? I haven't read the whole thread, so this situation may have cleared itself up. Have you met this person in real life? If not, why do you care what he thinks and why you let a person on the internet you don't know have your full name and phone number to add you to a social network? Just remove his access to you and tell him to stop texting you. Or better yet, I know its a foreign concept, you CALL the person and you tell them to stop contacting you. |

Kermie and Miss Piggy's love will never die. Did you ever see Fatal Attraction? It's like that. Only without the creepy bunny scene.... To me that was not the creepiest scene. It didn't even bother me. The scene that freaked me out was at the end when she's flinging that knife back and forth and it's cutting through her dress and then her leg and she doesn't even notice while she's talking to the husband. 
 
That wasn't the scariest part for me. The scariest part was that the casting directors thought the other woman should look like George Washington.

Scare the crap outta me!!!!!!! Really?! If one as an individual has a relationship with god....I don't think anyone else has the right to judge another person! Which is why I don't like to discuss religion or politics. Everyone has a different opinion on these subjects. I respect any and all beliefs. Shouldn't it be that way in turn for the other person as well?! So what you're saying is you don't like to judge people or don't like when they judge you? Judging by your post, looks like you just judged the people you accuse of judging you. I know it's a bitter cycle when pointing fingers and it comes back full circle.

I didn't have a name on my birth cert for 6 months. My parents argued about what my name was going to be. I was almost Petula. I am sooooooo not a Petula. I cringe when I think how I would of been teased growing up.

I've never heard of the Jersey Shore crew.... are they as famous as the other female pseudo celebs I mentioned? It's on MTV...kind of like the Real World except it's sole purpose is to embarrass Italian Americans. I would say they are having their 15 minutes at the moment. I think they were actually on talk shows making the rounds. But men only make up half of the population. Do you think it's men who buy gossip magazines and frequent online gossip sites about paris hilton etc? If only men are interested in the female pseudo celebrities, why aren't they reported on soley in men's magazines? Most people that run gossip sites on the net are gay men. |

I met a man with two sons 23, 25 living at home. We have dated for a few months now. I have introduced him to my 15 year old child and welcomed him into my home. I still have not been invited to his home and do not know where he lives. He tells me I can look it up in the phone book, its no secret. I ask why have I not been invited to his home and he tells me he is protecting his boys. He is not ready to introduce them to anyone yet as he is still married. He has told me he has a divorce going on. Has lived apart from his wife for 5 years now. So why is it an issue that I not be invited to his home? Is he really filing for a divorce? has he? does she still live there? what do you all think of this? he tells me he is in love with me and does not want to lose me. To me his children are grown adults not babies. Why is it an issue for me to go there? YOu have any clues or insight for me? Umm what part are you not understanding???? You said he told you he is still married. Is this a trick question? And here ladies and gentlemen who say it's okay to get involved with separated people, is exactly why you don't. Have fun playing the waiting game in his 5 year plus divorce proceedings

It has been suggested that Helen of TROY, had RED HAIR... This was said to be The Queen of Beauty... They have other striking traits as well... I thought Cleopatra was supposed to be the most beautiful? I don't believe she was redhead. Besides beauty is subjective. |

Well, I'm screwed then. I never wanna get married once. I can't imagine have 5 husbands. I would shoot myself.
Anyone that wants more than one spouse, more power to them.
BTW, what does "unconditional love" have to do with having more than one spouse??? |

^I agree with that. As a matter of fact, I don't think people with children under say 6 or 7 should have dogs because both the child and the dog are unpredictable. Children think little dogs are toys and don't know they bite until they get bitten. Dogs don't know children don't know they aren't toys and will bite them. I know this from experience as it never fails someone lets their child out of their site and the child runs over to my dog. I tell them, please don't pet the dog. Then parent gets upset cause they think I'm being mean to their child for not letting it pet my dog. I actually had an argument with a woman once because of it. Now everytime I see the woman, she keeps her eyes to the ground when she passes me. It's hilarious actually.

I believe a lot of the older actors are more talented than the younger generation today. Meryl Streep is one of the best actors (male or female) in Hollywood. I don't know if she's flashed boobs or ***. I couldn't name one younger celeb that even comes close to her.
In this day and age, anybody can be famous. If you want your 15 minutes, sign up for a reality show or just act the fool or make a sex tape and it's instant infamy for a brief period of time. Just because someone is famous, doesn't mean they have talent. Men act the fool just as much as women, but I do think women are judged more harshly. I won't give my biased opinion on Sarah Palin cause I don't think it should be a political topic. But I will say, there are more men in politics acting foolish than women. Countless affairs...but they seem to be forgiven and forgotten rather quickly. So I guess in a way, I agree with you OP. Just my 2 cents. |

Meh, their site, their rules. Same as here. Why are people so offended? Nobody gets offended at other dating sites geared towards a certain demographic. If someone doesn't want you, why do you want to be a part of it anyway? I've been deemed "unfit to date" on several sites. Shocking, I know cause I'm so demure.
BTW, Do they have a forum? I need a new playground to victimize. Nothing like taunting people that are full of themselves.
