I would only go 15 years younger, that way we would at least have something in common to talk about. Any younger it would feel like babysitting, not dating!

I agree wholeheartedly. My standards remain high, and I've been chased but I always outrun them!
spock

Depends on the guy. Sometimes I equate "Call me" to "Let's Do Lunch" which means I'm just trying to be polite....noway

I just wanted to get other's advice as to why men do not want a good thing anymore. I have been single for five years, yet all that know me, tell me I am an awesome woman with a great personality. I have tried dating sites, and don't get too many responses and the ones that I do.. are pretty much just players or someone looking for a one night stand. I have been told I am attractive and funny. Not sure what I am doing wrong. I have morals and standards, cook, clean, faithful, honest.. you name it.. good old gal here. I just don't get it, and get asked all the time why someone like me is single? I don't know how to respond anymore, except to say, I don't know either. LOL. I am very independent and just ready in life to settle down and find the right one eventually. Hopefully before I hit 80, ya think?? LOL

I know exactly what you're talking about. I think it has something to do with being independent. I have a feeling men want women who depend on them for things, so they can 'care' for women who need them. I haven't met anyone in here worth a damn, just married guys who think I need a 'friend.' But they don't say they are married ahead of time which I find a bit deceitful and I drop them like hot potatoes. I have signed up for a couple of classes at a nearby college. One of these classes is salsa dancing, which is something I used to do a lot of. Don't wait for the right one, search for your own happiness and somewhere along the line the right one will come along and share it.

The very first time I tried a fresh Habanero pepper, I thought my brain would explode. I just held onto my head and kept chewing. I learned to de-seed Habaneros before eating them, that's the only way to eat them safely.

I should have bought some of those Forever stamps when I had a chance.grumble

I actually had to go to the post office today because I only had 2 cent stamps at home and was not about to give them an extra penny because I was too lazy to go get the 1 cent stamps.

Back to topic, I don't reply to every email, unless I have something in common with the person.

I saw it on one of those online movie sites. It was visually stunning but lacking in plot. Woolly mammoths looked like sheep dogs with fur jackets LOL. Spear Tooth was well done.

I liked all the cartoons that came with Rocky & Bullwinkle, like Tennessee Tuxedo, King Leonardo and the Aesop's Fables. Can't forget Dudley Doright!

Any one remember Courageous Cat & Minute Mouse?
