From my point of you there is a big difference which gender has less or no money.
First of all, it's only positive side if both partners earn! Have their own money for their spendings.
But, the truth is, that man should be the one women can relay on. And the reason is very simple, usually after giving birth women are the ones who take care of children and household. Of course situations can differ, and the roles can exchange, but I couldn't live with men who can't take me out to restaurants, holidays, or pay for taxi (drive me home) if needed etc.
And don't get me wrong, I can do all those things myself too. It's not that I have nothing and expect from partner something I can't do, it's just a big bold tick in relationship box to make us work. The feeling that I can relay on man and he can do it!

Nothing is too fast if both want the same. It's a feeling.
When one of partners has "Its not the right time! We must get to know each other better etc" then it can be sign of different feelings.
If my relationships are stuck in the same place for longer then 1 year I am considering them as "without future "
Not so young and naive to waste my time with someone who doesn't make a move...
