if we all had a tree, that grew us money, for free
must that mean, we should all have a stash
if the sun, shone down rays of common sense
and real love could be paid for in cash
the fools would have made fortune yesterday
selling us tomorrows news
sell your souls! chop down your trees!
for big buckets for all of ones and twos..
but the wise ones that loved and looked after their trees
knew the roots would grow strong, deep and thrive
and them trees, they'll be blossoming forever more
with the twenties, the tens and the fives..
