No, the first cut is the deepest. Listening to Cat Stevens is also a bad idea if you're trying to forget about that first love. Pro-tip. |

klc pretty much nailed it. What individual wants to feel anything less than unique? If someone took the time to actually fill out a profile and you take the time to mention something specific from that it shows that their efforts weren't wasted.
Also, realistically, you have to gauge their level of intelligence and whether or not you want to start casually or be really witty and appeal to them on that level. Or... maybe that person just isn't into you. Also... the numbers game isn't advisable, but it does sort of work. It all depends on if you want to be honest or manipulative. As you may guess, sometimes my intros go well and sometimes they don't. Haha. |

Any compromise is based on agreed upon conditions... thus meaning that love would no longer be considered unconditional love.
There is no such thing as "unconditional love". But look at me being all literal. |

You're not alone. Trust me.
One of my closest friends hanged himself three years ago. He was 23 or 24. Several of my other friends' deaths are debatable as to whether or not they were accidental or purposeful. I highly advise trying out free bereavement groups. There are sites that show free groups like this in your area. They can apparently be quite helpful. I used to go to different groups run by a woman that ran a bereavement/suicide survivor group as well, but I never went to that one. Best of luck. |

This is a trick of embezzlers too, a philosophical question... With history, if it is in effect, deleted from written word, did it never happen? Or is it more easily twisted to the nefarious one's advantage of view point? History being simply the record of events... by evacuating the written documentation of an event you essentially destroy what would be considered history in the classical sense. However, the only way to truly destroy history is to also destroy the verbal accounts, as events from these individuals could later be entered into the written word. Also, all information is propaganda. There are no absolutes. I'm absolutely sure of it. |

Just watched the latest episode. In my opinion the show just continues to get better in almost every respect. The story seems more cohesive than previous seasons, the flashbacks aren't overdone and are employed in very interesting ways, and (though I haven't read the comics), from what I understand we're a little over 1/3 of the way through the story.
Also... was I the only one who kinda guessed the Eugene thing? |

So happy when I saw the "~" next to the name of a poem.
This is outstanding, teasing. Full of observation... I absolutely love this one. One of my favorites from you yet. |

"MAMA'S BOY"????
|

Typically the term is indicative of an individual that has a seemingly unusually close relationship to his mother, whether it be the need for approval after adulthood on a seemingly needlessly frequent basis, or the abject desire to fulfill the wishes of his mother despite any changes in his life.
I mean... usually, this goes back to the idea of "mommy issues" and "daddy issues". I love my mom. She's unbelievably cool and she's supported me in all the crazy **** I've decided to do with my life, whether or not she believed in it, but that's also because I've always felt a sense of independence from my mother because she's so kind. I guess the inverse would be like me saying that I am, indeed, my father's son. But he's dead, so that really takes a lot of pressure off of the whole external validation thing. |

Choices.....

Do you prefer?: Dogs or cats? Pancakes or waffles? Saturday or Sunday? Blondes or redheads? Winter or summer? Doggy or missionary? Married or single? Chinese food or Mexican food? Feel free to elaborate on any/all of your choices..... ![]() Dogs Waffles (Yeah, I'm serious) Sunday (Specifically sunday morning) Blondes (Now. It used to be redheads [then it was purple hair... but I'm over it, I think]) Winter (autumn is still my favorite of them all) Doggy (Really? You're going to make me choose? I like to switch midway through) Single. Single. Single. Single. Single. Chinese (But the good stuff. None of this Panda Express, OD on MSG garbage being peddled next to a Cinnabun. Any Asian food that's good is my jam) |

Notoriously mysterious druggie, goth, skater, womanizer.
That was my reputation. I can't exactly remember who I was. I was doing a lot of acid in black clothes while skating next to my girlfriend. |

Well, holy hell, I just checked my sign-up date and I realized that it has been five years (doesn't it just sound so much more impressive when I say 'half a decade'?) since I signed up here. I'm trying to imagine just how much has changed in that time, and also I've been considering just how many words have spilled from my fingers onto this site within 7,162 posts.
So... how has your life changed since you got here? ![]() |

find anything more on Sagittarius op ... op are u English ? didn't look at your profile ...just looks like ur from there... From Urban Dictionary - " the ninth starsign of the western zodiac. if you are born 23rd November-21 December then you are a sagittarius. OBVIOUSLY the BEST sign of the zodiac. sagittarians are often highly intelligent, adventurous and curious. They are cultural and often have a keen eye for fashion and trends. they are pretty clumsy and can seem blunt and insensitive at times, but really they are just speaking the truth, and are often very thoughtful and philosophical. Symbol: The Archer Element: Fire Quality: Mutable Ruling Planet: Jupiter Numbers: 6, 9 Colours: indigo, violet, deep pink Celebs born on th sign of sagittarius Steven Speilberg Winston Churchhill Jane Austen Jimi hendrix Tyra Banks Christina Aguilera" Then again, I fall under the sidereal calender technically since I was born in the Millenial generation, so I'm no longer a Sagitarrius. I think you just won Urban Dictionary though. |
