He had a blantantly gay rainbow bracelet on and was in his late 30's. I swear, I never expected to meet the only gay guy in Craven County at my doorstep.

laurathecynic: please tell me you're in NC so I'm not the only whatever I am in the room. :( I met a girl who likes Tori Amos, but no one likes my "angry lesbian music" as my nephew calls it. It was so much easier when I went to school in Florida :/

Come on people, I'm losing it here. I've run across a couple of people who can rock out to some decent music, but no one who knows half of the bands I listen to. I had a gay pizza delivery guy show up one day (and I'm in Craven County), yet NOT ONE person I've met likes Rilo Kiley or Ani DiFranco. And some tolerate folk music or early 90's alternative, but none are as into it as I am. I know you have to be out there, NC can't be that backwards, can it? :( -the Yankee
