Hi Vivian, Jan, Bill and Tim. Just wanted to say hi but I'm not staying long. It has been a bad day. Brian got a rejection letter from the college he wants to go to and won't talk to me give him his space, I know as a mom you want to fix things but guys need space at times Thanks Tim. I know. He went slamming out of here. I know he needs his space but I am just afraid that he is going to just let the next 3 months of school go downhill and not graduate. My son Jimmy said he will talk to him so I will let him handle it. It's just really hard. His father is no help when it comes to education you can talk to him next week when he calms down, just let him know your there when he's ready with out being pushy Good advice. Thanks. I'm just dreading the next couple of days because we are getting another foot of snow and we will be stuck in the house together That sucks for both of you.... All the advice the others gave you is great....but still the problem remains for now... What are the other college options for his desired major? Are any of them do-able? Good luck, Mom...

Thank you Jan How are you this evening? I'm not sure if Bill is here or not It appears he is not....at least not all of him... I am attempting to accomplish a few things on my day off.... but between the kids and the phone, I have to just be satisfied with whatever I can get done.....rather than whatever I have planned...

Good evening what's up??? Hi ya friend, how have you been? Busy,befuddled, and frustrated.... but from what I just read....I'm doing much better than Tim right now.. Hi Betty, Mary, Tim, Vivian.... AHHHHHHH, why are you so befuddled and frustrated??? Can we help, or at least lend an ear? work, family issues, dealing with my father's estate, and a few other miscellaneous things..... about the only good thing right now is the weather.... so I guess I owe thanks to whomever took the brunt of the last storm... I get through all the stress with baby steps and help from above. You are a strong faith driven woman and you know you aren't alone. Hugs and prayers to you...the sun WILL shine again before long....you already know how to dance in the rain! Yes I do....but sometimes one forgets... from time to time..... I do need to say, however...that God was VERY good to me over the weekend when He demonstrated how He can take care of ALL my needs .....I just need to remember things like that when I get discouraged....

Betty, does all that worrying do you any good? I have MANY, MANY concerns. I do what I can, as I can. If I allow these concerns to run my life, I would never get anything done. What is that prayer of acceptance? Something about "change what I can & accept what I can't?" Just a thought. Betty, I believe that what Don is trying to recall is: "God grant us the serenity to accept the things we cannot change, courage to change the things we can, and wisdom to know the difference." And this makes sense. Worry gets you nowhere... and it does that quickly..

Boy....everyone sure is quiet on here tonight..... I am wearing deodorant....REALLY, and I used mouth wash........ I had to get the dishwasher unloaded and loaded, then a pail of ice cream fell out of the freezer so I had to give it aid did you have to eat the whole thing?
