Personally, I'm here to date...so far, I think the majority of men I've encountered are not interested in meeting, just 'chatting'. I agree that most are here out of loneliness.

Generally, midlife crisis has a lot to do with it; they see their life as half over when they look in the mirror. The glory days are gone and these men don't want to face the fact that they're older; and in most cases, not appealing to the 20-30-40 age range. It may take awhile, but they usually come around to realizing that even though they want a spring chicken, the spring chicken doesn't want an old ****, and they'll accept the fact that although our boobs aren't as high and tight as they used to be, neither is their scrotum.
