Sometimes suffering feels sooo good!

I still fail to see how love in any way, shape, or form is good. I think it is more detrimental than good, more emotional stress, physical stress...heart attack anyone?

MMM..more like panic attack! LOL

You think you're going to die but it doesn't happen so you continue to worry! LOL

Poor Diligent is getting raped by a wild pack of females.

I wonder what my pal Hugh Hefner would say about 18 year girls and older guys. It's not about the penis at all. It's about money, attention, attitude, and reputation

Exactly! All an 18 year old is going to care about is How much money you have, what she can gain out of it and use you to the full extent! LOL

Mmmm..that reminds me. Has any women between the ages of 18-22 actually replied to his question here, since he was aiming it at those ages? LMAO

Even though he is not directing the question to the 'old, yammering bags' on this site, what he needs to hear is ....

NO -- an 18-22 year old does not want your flaccid, wrinkled up old sac!

I exclusively date younger guys but even I have my cut off point of being too young.

I am on this site to meet "women". By my definition and the legal definition, a woman who is 18 or older is of legal age. I am not going through a "middle age crisis". But, "younger women" generally are more beautiful, less jaded, and more submissive than older women with failed marriages, emotional baggage, and droves of "daddy's babies".

Now, nothing is etched in stone. You can have age parameters or other qualifying factors including or eliminating groups of people. But, in my experience, it is silly to prevent individuals from even speaking to you because they are 1 year too old or too young, or live 10 miles outside of your area. What is important are mutual attractions, similar interests, common values, and common goals.

Now, what these garrulous females have overlooked by my seminal question are these issues; (1) My question was directed to YOUNG WOMEN, ages 18-22. I am asking them a rhetorical question; If they would date me, or someone my age with similar looks, etc., and (2), I openly questioned the validity of the e-mail messages I received on "true.com" from these hordes of younger women. I question them because I did not solicit them on my "true.com" profile. With the proper feedback from YOUNGER WOMEN on this blog, I can readily determine if those e-mails are legitimate.

You are being completely Biased!! mad

18 year old's don't know jack **** about life, nor do they know about relationships nor have they even been in enough to figure out that they want to be a 45 year old. They are just getting out of high school! And to others, could be thought of as being your daughter, LMAO!! Jesus. Yeah they have a better looking body and will always be younger than you. But let me tell you they are no more jaded than a woman your age. No more baggage than a woman your age and Definitely Most of the time more submissive than women your age. Get over yourself, Suave!

MMM...that reminds me, I think you've been watching to much porn with "teens" in them....They aren't like porn stars you see on tv and if you can't keep up with an 18 year old - she gonna leave you for someone who can. (Just being honest)

LMAO I have to add this in! My ex is 37 and during the course of our relationship he asked me to be younger than what I am. So he wanted me to keep my maturity, but wanted me to dress like an 18 year old - you know the girls he'd watch in his stupid porns. I was like, "wtf!" I'm not dressing like an 18 year old. I'm 26 and dressing the way I want. Idiots!!! I swear to God!! mad explode rant

Nevermind the fact, that AVG also installs an extra service (that runs in the background), and I found AVG to be taking up too much resources = slowing down the PC more than other lighter antivirus programs, such as Antivir.

Yep, AVG has watchdog, linkscanner and 2 others, which use quite a bit of CPU. Been well over a year and a half since I used AVG, will never ever go back to that!

I'm sorry that I was unclear. Mozzila is fine. The issue is with Window's IE. used to work there, not anymore.

You should try reseting IE completely. You want too first clear your Browsing sessions by going to tools > internet options > Browsing History > (clear history, cookies, temporary internet files)

Once that's done, look for "advanced" at the top of the navigation in your "internet options", click on it. Then at the bottom you will read "reset"...click the button, then again, click "reset". Do not click on "delete personal settings" unless you really want to lose your home page, search providers, passwords, etc.

This is the first step to either fixing the problem or figuring out that it is another problem.

Let me know how that works for you.

Also, if you do not have the latest IE browser, which is 8, you should upgrade your browser and then Try the compatibility button up by the address bar to also see if that works.

It's a LONG road. How do you know? When you're not scared to be vulnerable, when you trust without worrying about it, and when your vision is not clouded with red flags. When you don't have to defend their actions to others, when you feel happier when they are around, and when they support you rather than break you down. When they ask nothing of you than your company and support, and encouragement is continuous.

But it takes a while... and be wary. I wish you the very best of luck.

Mmm..well said. And very true that it's a LONG road!

what works for some people doesnt work for others

papersmile lives 1753 miles from me but we make it work

it's not always easy but we make it work

How do you do it?

i love him without any expectations of the relationship or demands on him as a person.

i am incredibly appreciative of any time we get together, even though it's nowhere near the amount of time i'd like it to be.

i enjoy each day that i have his love and try not to think much further than today.

i think he's the funniest, and at the same time the most intelligent, man that i know and he is able to hold my interest and my attention, all of it, from miles away, so much that no other guy - no matter how close in geography - even has a chance to measure up.

and i try to convey that to him in every possible way each day, and have since probably the very first email i sent.

(psst, dumbass: have i told you lately? love )

wow

he sounds like one hell of a guy

Take alot of caring and understanding to make that kind of relationship work. Congrats to both of you on doing that!

Then I will do the "growing up" and walk myself to the door! I am too much of a confident woman to be wearing a "Welcome" doormat on my forehead............ Wonder why I am still single, do you guys think I am too picky or too outspoken? laugh laugh laugh laugh

We're not WEAK women...so the men, who act credit card collectors,(NOT ALL MEN), prey on the weak. I say screw em all !

I don't think your picky or outspoken, you are who you are, they don't like it, they don't have to talk to you, right?!

like anything when there is a symbiotic relationship, you have to accept both parties equally if you are an outsider friend, in other words, go out with both, but not one or the other, for it will always be a little sticky, no matter how secure the other party is with themselves and you...it's just bad manners and possible dis-respect to begin with, and pulling on the mate's trust. the spouse is left alone nights, and wondering, or days too. if i was that friend, i'd make sure both were included or would not go out. things can be said and not taken back, and all three will suffer....

D.O you are very wise...for a scary lookin guy. laugh flowerforyou

thankyou, and i prefer hidious if you please(bows respectfully)laugh

Too true! Ex's are ex's because they don't fit into your life..they should stay that way. Everyone had told me I was weird because I never stayed friends with ex's...It's like, why on earth would I talk to someone who broke my heart only to start bringing up past issues and hurt, regret and anger to just feel empty inside once more. If you have to keep ex around, even after you've found someone else than that relationship isn't worth getting into, obviously they still care and love that other person.

I don't keep ex's as friends for that very reason, your new partner (no matter how much you reassure them) may feel put out by your friendship with your ex, and as for saying they should be grown up about it...........Well, there is only so far you could stretch a person's emotions, undestanding and good nature.

Exactly Bonny! Grown up...BAH HUM BUG! They are the ones that need to grow up and stop being SELFISH
