My life has been less than perfect, and with each passing day I'm starting to see.

That though I've given my best in love, still I wonder if I'll ever find the one for me.

I admit I haven't made all the right decisions, but I've always tried to do what's best.

Pouring my heart into what I believed to be real, only to find it was just another test.

So far I've passed with flying colors, still never scoring high enough.

I've given, and given, until it hurts so badly, yet I don't think I can cry enough.

Is there a true love to rescue me from this storm, and remove this dark cloud of pain?

Will I ever find someone who will give my loving heart shelter from THE RAIN?

Maybe it's never meant to be, and to be alone is my true destiny.

But I'm so afraid of giving up, and letting love get the best of me.

I don't think I'm asking too much, only to get love as equally as I give it.

I no longer want to write about it, this time I want to live it.

The sunshine still eludes me, and that I can't explain.

Passion, and compassion... Very nice I was really moved by this one.

A little dark for me but a very well written piece. I felt like I was living each moment of it.

I don't mind doing nice things; in fact I was raised to be that way.

And I don't need a special occasion, like Valentine, or Sweetest Day.

Being romantic should come anytime at all, morning, noon, and night.

When it comes from the heart, no matter what it is, it makes loving each other feel right.

The occasional wine and dine is just fine, or doing nothing together every time we get the chance.

And when the time comes to make love, let's first make time for romance.

Let's not forget, I like to be wined and dined too, that's what this whole give and take thing is for.

But it doesn't have to be 50/50, it can be 60/40, I'm the man so I don't mind doing a little more.

We can't forget about the little things, and just saying I love you, well those are just the words.

Because if we think we can say it without showing it, then that statement is for the birds.

We must keep the spice in the Realationship, with quality time together as well as apart.

Combined with an understanding of the words "I LOVE YOU", will keep us loving from the heart.

So no matter what the risks, to keep this love alive we have to be willing to take a chance.

So when the time comes to make love, let's first make time for romance.
