I have the ability to fall asleep when I want to sleep. Picked it up in the Army. If it's a bit chilly outdoors, open up your windows and get a thick blanket, and just lay back down. It always works for me.. But then again, I can sleep on a stack of pallets in the back of a 5 ton truck moving down a gravel road..

As of late, I've been waking up about 4 am, and by 6.. I've already swiped a few movies off the net, and heard the morning news.

Today, like clockwork... I woke up in my overstuffed chair right here at my pc. With the windows wide open, and it was a brisk 46 degrees.. So much for falling asleep in shorts..

But when I type in my email addy, it shows pictures that I have posted on my profile page, and it has replies that I've made to stories on yahoo.

If I type in my email addy or my nym here(Mingle) on yahoo, it also shows posts that I've made in chatrooms, and posts that I've made here on Mingle.

They have my old address in IL, and a picture of mainstreet Elwood, but no one would know my house because the little pin they have on the map is about 2 blocks east of the actual house where I used to live.

They have bupkis on me down here, cuz I have a cell phone and magic jack.

I know most of you are dog lovers and will help if you can. My neighbor has lost her Chihuahua puppy and is desperate to find him.

Yesterday, she was sitting on the couch watching TV and realized he was gone.
She called out to him and he never responded.


She then noticed the back door was open.

She has been putting up signs everywhere in an effort to have him returned.

I wanted to say 66... But it'd be difficult to follow.

I completely forgot one event in my life until I spoke with an old Army buddy last night. When he and I were stationed at Ft. Hood, Texas, one night we went down to Austin to see a band he knew about at the Opera House.
When we got there, there were only a dozen or so cars in the parking lot, so we thought maybe the show got canceled. We went to the door, and it was open. We went inside, and there was about 20 people in the first 2 rows, and the rest empty.
The band came in, and by the end of the 3rd song, said to us all- "Get your arses up here and dance. You're the only ones here, have fun". We did, and we DID. Great flippin night.

The band was Madness. Their most famous song was "Our House", but they had 6 or so albums released.

I have forgotten a few.. I babysat Jesse jackson when he was locked up in the jail where I used to work, and I also babysat two serial killers, a few mob hitmen, and another 30 guys off Death Row in Illinois.

And I used to go to an archery shop in Tinley Park, Il.. (my hometown) owned by Freddie Bear.. Ted Nugent and he were good friends, Ted even wrote a song by that name.

Not anyone that the average Joe knows.. But.. I'm friends with the band The Tossers, and 2 of the guys from Disturbed used to drink at my old corner bar.

And one time I chaffeured and pulled security for one of the bigwigs from IBM. I got 500 bucks for 8 hours, so he must have been important.

Oh.. almost forgot. I was stationed in Germany with Sergeant Westmoreland, the Grandson of General Westmoreland.

You would think these idiots would invest 100 bucks on a pair of binoculars, and another 100 on a book of "Naval Ships that'll kick yer A$$e$".
