I have had it happen 2 times....Any "Free" site is going to have many scammers because it doesnt cost them anything but a little time. So beware. Never give out personel info unless you are pretty damn sure of the person you are giving it to. Cell phone #s are a pretty safe thing to give out, most cell #s are not listed like a home phone.You can look up almost any home # on the internet and get a name and address,city and state.
