The worst date I've ever been on, I had to actually tell my date I was going to the bathroom and left him in the movies, went outside and called my friend to come pick me up and had to hide in the bushes until my friend got there, so my date wouldn't see me. All because he couldn't keep his nasty hands off of me. I don't appreciate being disrespected like that. I mean, when I say stop touching me, I mean it! Ugh...I don't think I've had my "best" date ever yet...I certainly hope not.

To me, being willing to travel to see me isn't enough. I need that person to be in close proximity to me in order to have a relationship. I like someone I can talk to on a daily basis and see a couple times a week.

Religion should never be an issue with friends, but someone you're going to date is different. If you're seriously considering building a lasting union with someone, to me, I can't imagine not being able to base that union on our shared religion.

I guess if religion isn't important to you, in your own personal life, then the religion of the person you are dating shouldn't matter to you. But, for some people, religion is an important part of life and therefore, it should be important when considering someone to date.

It definitely matters to me. I can't have a relationship with someone who doesn't have the same morals, principles and beliefs that I do. My "religion" is very much a part of who I am and if I can't share that with the person I'm in a relationship with, then it's not going to work.
