Hate to tell you guys this but I have lived through the "sexually incompatible" relationship thing and as much as I would like to say that it does not matter....it does. Believe me, prior to that particular relationship I would have agreed that it didnt much matter. The truth is that it does and it affects other areas of your relationship as well.

UMMM also the interns and residents medication orders are checked by a
pharmacist before they are even sent to the floor and the administering
nurse is responsible for checking the meds before he/she gives them to
the patient.......so those stats aren't going to fly with me

1) being late makes the other party think they are not important to you.
If you are always late and you know it bothers her it is your
responsibility as her bf to work on it if it will make her happy!

2) is being late really something to fight about??? Aren't there enough
major things to deal with? People fight over little things.....they turn
into some major catastrophe....people yell...lose their temper...say
things they shouldn't and the next thing you know you have broken up
because YOU WERE LATE. Come on!

No doubt about it. He claims to have a Masters but I think he is not
just ignorant but uneducated as well!

The guys act tough but they really want to be treasured as much as

I just want to say thanks to all of you. I was really upset when I
started this topic and I feel alot better!

Well Barbie, I myself do not but unfortunately there are those that
still continue to want to divide all of us. For whatever reason they
have chosen "color" as the separation factor. I suppose it could have
been eye color or height. They could have just as easily decided we
should all hate our neighbor because he was taller than 5'9"......

Just the fact that you are not happy with your own reaction to your
family tree shows that you have good intentions...don't be so hard on
yourself. It sounds to me like you are in a process. I wish you the best
on your journey, I cannot tell you how rich my life is because of my
exposure to so many different people other than my own "white" Italian
culture.

With something like that, I think you just have to admit it and make an
effort EVERYDAY to get over it.
I find that people that haven't traveled much or live in communities
that are predominantly one race have a goldfish mentality. Its almost
like they don't get it.....the world is much bigger than your own bowl.
Unfortunately, the media does not help. They seldom sensationalize
anything but the negative. Consequently, if we see someone from another
culture in the media, it is always disparaging.
