Hi: If it were me, I would not do anything to put my child at risk for anything, if it could be avoided.

It sounds like the two of you (the dad) are separated. What are the laws of your state about him having visitation rights?

First and formost, he should be providing for his child. Plain and simple.

Second, if you feel that he should be in her life, maybe consider supervised visitation.

Anyway, I would not risk my child's safety, knowing that he could do something stupid.

As stated here, patience is a vitual. While dating has become complex, always keep up the hope. Sometimes, more often than not, you will find that special person when you least expect it.

While it is hard to be alone, sometimes it is better to be alone for the right reason, instead of being with someone for the wrong reason. Meaning that, to date someone incompatible with you, so that you are not alone, while he or she cheats on you, takes advantage of you, and takes your money, is not worth it.

Why not??? As long as there is a mutual attraction, and she is honest, down to earth, caring, and respectful. After all, who are we to judge???

I am glad I joined. Most ads seem sincere, and people down to earth. I
am glad that I am not the only one who did not have a good experience
with plenty of fish. It seems that the members there are interested in
partying or "else" if you get my drift. It did not seem that there was
a big, vested interest in long term, or even remotely, short term
relationships. Glad I joined here. Thanks again for the kind replies.
