This is why I get my news from a site called Fark.com It posts links to the news story but the headlines are always a joke (unless its too serious to joke about). And the forums are insane too. Its nice to see that people don't take news so seriously like they do on this forum or in life in general.

Those books are long time favorites of the left....especially the Communist Manifesto. Even Hillary Clinton had quoted from it and said she is inspired by it. Obama has said very similar things about it too. Alot of them are classics. Most people I know read and liked most of them. You can't tell me that Phantom Toll Booth wasn't awesome? |

From his own words on his YouTube page: Books: I had favorite books: Animal Farm, Brave New World, The Wizard Of OZ, Aesop Fables, The Odyssey, Alice Adventures Into Wonderland, Fahrenheit 451, Peter Pan, To Kill A Mockingbird, We The Living, Phantom Toll Booth, One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, Pulp,Through The Looking Glass, The Communist Manifesto, Siddhartha, The Old Man And The Sea, Gulliver's Travels, Mein Kampf, The Republic, and Meno. I was at my GFs house when it happened, and we don't pay much attention to the outside world on weekends. So the blame game is new to me. But I did like some of those books. The only ones I won't read is Mein Kampf, or Communist Manifesto. |

So let me get this straight...A crazy guy shoots a bunch of people that end up being killed or wounded, and somehow or another on this thread, it goes to Sarah Palin, Tea Party, and Liberals. Will someone please tell me what politics have to do with the deaths of 6 innocent people and the wounding of countless others?

Come on Packers! We need to get to the Super Bowl so I can have a reason to watch that stupid game this year! Every year its Pats or the Steelers VS Indy or Chicago. Its the same teams every frakin' year!

I bought their recent album and thought it was ok. Its the same sound they always have had, and the new singer sounds almost exactly like Layne. I just didn't like the songs personally. I was hoping for more "Man in the Box" than "Jar of Flies"

I wonder if the oil spill in the gulf had anything to do with it? Its obvious that it would impact the fish, but maybe the birds eat the fish that were contaminated?

You have to put the snow SOMEWHERE. Granted its a bad place for it, but when your plowing snow, it does not magically disappear, it piles up and you have to put the pile elsewhere until you find a spot for it. I guess it takes a PHD to figure out that you shouldn't plow the snow into a grave yard, knocking down a fence and 30 grave stones. Its hard to drive anything in a blizzard. Visablility is poor, so I can just guess that the driver didn't know he was in a cemetary in the first place. |

Or maybe the birds woke up one day and finally realized, that they in fact were birds. And they killed themselves hoping to reincarnate as a better creature.

It was aliens! They were flying low to find people to anal probe and they hit the birds! And then they needed to use the bathroom so they used a local river and killed the fish! Thats the best I got at the moment. 
GREAT THOUGHT yeah lets go with that! Now that I think about it....THEY WERE DRUNK ALIENS!
