Autumn is in the air! I love autumn, its a great season. Time for harvest and football, school time and changing leaves. Vibrant reds, yellows, and oranges. The smell of spice in the air. Pumpkins and halloween. Kids playing in the leaves and the slight bite of chill in the wind. Anybody else like autumn as much as me?

We have to wait here until the very end of October, then it is like Autumn my very favorite time of year....it is actually cool for change too!!! Not cold but cool, I love it.

We just had our first week of cooler weather here. It is going to warm up again, but it is a hint that it is just around the corner.

It is my favorite time of the year. Harvest, crisp days, the colors, COLLEGE FOOTBALL!!!! Oh yeah!

War Eagle!!! I am going to my first high school game in years. Me and a couple of my old school friends. Should make for a good night hope it doesnt rain.

WAR EAGLE Babe! drinker High school games are a blast, especially in the South. They are huge here in B'ham.

I live in Anniston so that is what we live for. High school football, college football, and hunting season. Has anybody realized that hunting season just so happens during the down time of nascar?

I enjoy the fall season, the cooling off, the change of the colors on the mountains, and it is a time of several birthday celebrations for my family...
but quickly there after comes to snow.... ug

I love snow i wish i lived where it snowed. Not like heavy snow but just enough. We might get a snow flurry here and schools close automatically. Its so stupid.

What is up with the hostility towards people tonight? Is it really necessary to jump down someones throat on the internet? I mean what did there people do to you other than type a few words? We are not perfect.

Walmart is full of crazies, and this just might take the prize. Imagine if that crabby old man worked there. I hear screaming kids all day. Thats just because they are bored and cant find anything to keep their minds on. Plus younger ones tend to get cranky around a lot of noise and people. I would have ran over the man with a motorize shopping cart. He needs to be slapped around a few times with a barbed wire bat!

Womans rights has caused quite a stir in marriage. Also marriages used to be arranged not to the point of how it is portrayed in movies, but love was not a question. Also women didnt go around having sex as openly as they have progressively in the last 200 years. When man and woman became husband and wife whether arranged or through choice the woman was a virgin or she had only slept with her betrothed. Sex always makes things more complicated. And now more younger people confuse lust for love. And so they get married because the sex is good. But then once the sex is gone they realize that their heart is not in the relationship. So they divorce or worse one of the partners seeks alternative outlets to provide them with that feeling they had at the begining of the relationship. Or the alternative is that because women have become power houses in the work place, some men take the lesser role. And it can become an issue in the household. Some men are bums and refuse to work because the woman makes more money. That can make a man feel inferior to the woman and it adds strain and conflict if the man is not pulling his weigh. Imagine this, the woman works a full time job, comes home to her husband and maybe kids. She has to clean house, tend to the kids needs, and do the shopping and bill paying. All while the husband kicks up his feet and does nothing. That is what the younger society is coming to in general. There are many men who provide for house and home. But a great number are falling into the other category. That i believe is why marriages are so stained plus the added loss of jobs. Its only going to get worse.

Anybody in the Wilmington area that can help provide any extra info that may supplement a move there. Like what is the average pay and the average cost of living? I can transfer to the walmart there, but i will look for a different job once there. What is the average cost of gas?

Google is your friend....just type in Wilmington,NC and a wealth of informative sites pop up. I live in Wilmington and enjoy it ,however it all depends on what you are looking for as to weather you will or not. I will tell you that the job market is not so great right now..but who knows what it will be like in a year.
There are a lot of community events...free concert series, festivals, farmers markets ect. There is a growing Arts community here as well as a film studio. UNCW is located here(10 minutes from the beach) and Cape fear Community College . The Cape Fear River runs at the edge of Historic Downtown and has a lovely river walk flanked by shops and restaurants.

Thanks for that info. I visited Wilmington last year. Of course i must say it was to sight see the places where the show one tree hill was filmed. But just being in the city i fell in love. It really is a perfect place. The job market is low everywhere. But i work for walmart so its easy to transfer to another store. That way i can have a job when i move, but continue to look for a better job. My thing is searching for a place to live.

Ok is it still considered a nightmare if it was during the middle of the day? Wouldnt is be called a daymare? Oh and my horoscope said i would experience nightmares today. Go figure. Anyway this nightmare i had was crazy. My friends (who i did not know) and i were hanging out having a party then tons of people start showing up and acting crazy drinking drugs being passed around. Well this one girl started going crazy. She took a blade and started slicing into the corners of her mouth. Then she continued by cutting into her face and the rest of her body. And she enjoyed it. Ok i am freaked out by this. Well the girl starts gathering people around her and she starts killing them. Its such a blood bath by this point and i am trying to escape and call the police but nearly to terrified to move but i finally do and when i hear the siren i wake up. I think it is my way of killing all the drama from the previous months and letting that chapter of my life fall behind me. I went to bed planning my future and woke up planning my future. Any input?
