I would suspect that what it means varies with what part of the country you reside.

My point in this thread was not so much that I consider those who post pictures like this immature. It was more of trying to understand what someone thinks they are accomplishing.

A woman who posts a closeup of herself giving the camera the finger while glaring at the camera all tough. She trying to show what a tough chick she is and not to mess with her? She trying to show how cool she is. Really, what is the point trying to be made?

I would have to say that overall Peg deserved everything she got from Al. On the other hand I have a theory that Al was actually dead and the entire show was about him being tormented in Hell.

I need someone to explain this to me. Does it make you cool to post a picture of you giving the camera the middle finger? Are we supposed to think you are tough?

I can see if it is one of the extra pictures and it is you goofing around. When it is your primary picture and its a closeup of you giving the finger I have to wonder.

Does that appeal to anyone here? Does it make you want to email and get to know this person?

If your profile and picture are first impressions then I have to say that giving the finger in your picture to "look cool" certainly starts off on the wrong foot.
