Long distance relationships are a waste of (my) time. I can't speak for anyone else, but if I have to go more than maybe 50 miles, it's not worth the trouble. Plus trying to travel in these mountains is hell in winter.

I'm trying not to be on so much. I have things to do. But some of the forums are really interesting, so it's a challenge.

I'm not a particularly good woman, but I mean well, which is sort of important. I think the trick "romance" is to be willing to do other things in addition to hand picked flowers and chocolates and all that stuff. I had a guy who had the romance part down to a science but he was clingy and childish and disrespectful, which negated everything good he tried to do. So a nice balance would be great.

Right. So now you're saying that somebody might think that I'm sixty? This gets better and better. Do you think that my photos make me look fat? I had a guy tell me once that I could have been 26-50 as far as he was concerned. Totally pissed me off, basically because no one asked him. Now if I had asked him his opinion and he shot back with that nonsense, I'd figured oh, well, I got what I paid for. So I never ask. I still get carded when buying beer though, so he's a moron.

I was throwing 60 out there as an example. Personally I'm no good at judging ages, I have an idea of how one should look at a certain age, but they rarely do. Especially where I live, most people look at least 20 years older than their actual age, I blame it on hard mountain living.....

In response to why the women of the OP's age are only looking for younger men, maybe they like younger men? Maybe they find them attractive? Maybe they're trying to recapture their youth? Maybe for the same reason so many older men are only looking for younger women? It seems that everyone wants what they can't have. It's too bad we can't just settle for what we can get and leave the rest of it alone....
