Hi; I am from the U.S. and have lived here for 6 years. Davao City, at the far South end of the Philippines, is the safest city in the Philippines. We have no typhoons.

The city is expanding and there more and more condos being built in existing sub divisions and new ones.

There are plentiful malls and restaurants. The area that seems to be the most popular and near the newest malls, is Lanang.

There are hundreds of cute ladies who love foreigners. I am married to a Filipina who is just 24years old. I am a bi male and my wife is aware of that. More info on that if you ever ask.

Anyway, I suggest this city. Definitely no Manila!!
