Do you believe you can love someone you've never met? Is this even possible? If so, how? Have you chatted with someone and believed that you loved them? You can fall in love without having physically met them and be wrong once you get to be face to face as you can fall in love when you meet physically and then see you were wrong after you talked to them. Love is a feeling not a physical thing someones brain and ideas can be all you need to fall in love, the physical part is only for sensation touching sex and so on and some will only base their feeling on those aspect others will try the whole package while some only care if they think alike. So to each is own but yes you can fall in love even if you never met in person. I disagree. How can you truly know someone, when, IMO, love is of the mind, body, & soul? You are loving the "idea" of love. We all feel that at some point. But is is not lasting. How can it be? It is an "idea", brought on by perceptions and not based in reality. It is like saying, I love George Clooney. It is your "belief" that you love him, but that is an illusion. You may lust after him, base on your perception of who his is, but perceptions change all the time, based on more information. The physical is not only about sex, it is about the connection through sight, touch, and all of your senses. To define the physical based only on sex is one dimensional, and naive. I think I'm with my bootilicious buddy Buttah...if you haven't yet met, how might "pheromones" be allowed to work between you?

I dont understand the question.. are you implying that in order to love someone you must have physically met in person? How long have you been talking to said individual? this is actually not about me, although I am very curious. Of course I am implying that you have to physically meet someone to be IN love with them. My bootylicious buddy buttah is not talking about herself. She has this FRIEND, see, and...

I have chatted with someone for a while and really liked him. Then I talked with him and, well, I felt the opposite. So, I wonder, if you are chatting and calling someone, then finally meet them, would that change everything? If it changes from chat to talk, does it change from talk to meet? hmmm Ohhhh yeah it can change for sure... Not always but most of the time it does.. Or when you meet them and they're not who or what they had portrayed.. I've seen that a lot online.... Well, suppose they ARE who they said they were, and they were exactly as they had portrayed themselves, even more so ... and you had feelings before the meeting... because of the chats, the phone calls, the connection, etc.? This only emphasizes one's feelings even more to find out they are what you had originally believed and thought to begin with. Not everyone is into embellishing themselves or their profiles... thank goodness...
Oh I don't think everyone is.. That's why I used "can and not always"... In the past I've met some that weren't what they had led me to believe but nothing major, some I've exited before the meeting for various reasons and other cases I've heard that just weren't good.. There is not an "all" of anything as far as I'm concerned, but there is a "some" of a lot of things... There are some lady-minglers with a very lengthy (NPI-no pun intended) check-list. Is there a MALE equivalent to the female plasti-companion doll, whose mouth is set in a permanent "O"? And NO, I'm not talking about one of "those"!
To those who repeat this mantra (I-WILL-NOT-SETTLE-I-WILL-NOT-SETTLE-I...): DON'T WAIT YOUR LIFE AWAY.

I believe that you can "believe" it but you won't know until you meet them.. Meeting changes things.... I agree IMHO, finally meeting DOES change things. However, after just a bit of time together, in a reflective moment over what had been said via email, two people can latch on to each other as a magnet to steel. One of those "screen kisses"...just like in the movies, where the romantic, musical score rises to a crescendo... >SIGH< ...and his needle-sharp fangs sink deeply into your jugular! MWAAA-HAA-HAA-HAAAAA....

If any social group, categorized by race, sexual orientation, dog lovers, cat lovers, whatever, are oppressed by another, THIS GIVES THE OPPRESSED GROUP P-O-W-E-R.
It is foolish to think otherwise.
Why? Because of a concept in American society we call... THE V-O-T-E. 
The gay rise to political, social, etc. power rode on the coat tails of DISCRIMINATION BASED ON COLOR.
If you've ever taken part in discrimating against someone based on their color... SAME-SEX MARRIAGE IS YOUR FAULT.
PERIOD. 
Now, gays and lesbians can rally for political and social POWER with cries of "DOWN WITH BIGOTRY!" "NO MORE DISCRIMINATION!" "MARRIAGE FOR ALL!" Popular media, which depend primarily on the sale of air-time for commercials, radio spots, print advertising space, etc. heard these rallying cries. So did movie-makers, retailers, etc. Again, thanks to BIGOTS who discrimate against those of color... THE P-O-W-E-R OF THE GAY DOLLAR WAS REVEALED! It was all over then. 
If you're bigoted against those of color... YOU DID THIS.
YOU.
Politicians want to be elected.  They will give this oppressed group just about whatever they want (or TELL them they will give them whatever they want...) to SECURE THEIR VOTE.
IN ADDITION, one of the main reasons more and more states are opting to LEGALIZE same-sex marriage is because it BOOSTS THE ECONOMY. Do a search, and see for yourself. I'm not saying it's RIGHT OR WRONG, I'm just pointing out some of the dynamics of the proliferation of same-sex marriage. I would go further to explain why we CANNOT ADEQUATELY AND EFFECTIVELY INTERROGATE TERROR SUSPECTS BECAUSE OF BIGOTS, but I will rely on each of you to do the math. It's not difficult.

I think God can sort out who IS a real married couple, and who ISN'T, all on his own.
In fact, (yes, I'm going to refer to the Bible again...), in a heterosexual marriage, if one spouse or the other CHEATS, the marital bond is BROKEN. This means that there are likely MILLIONS of heterosexual, married couples who CONSIDER THEMSELVES MARRIED, and yet ARE NOT. (...and here comes my, "However...") HOWEVER, if, as a parent, or future parent, you either condone, or are neutral on same-sex marriage, and are too unmotivated or just too lazy to enlighten your children on this issue, PREPARE YOURSELF. Your young son AND/OR daughter may just call you up, just before the holidays from college, announcing... "GUESS WHO'S COMING OVER FOR DINNER?" QUESTION FOR SAME-SEX COUPLES, WHO ARE PARENTS NOW, OR FUTURE PARENTS: WHAT IF YOUR YOUNG SON AND/OR DAUGHTER CALLS YOU UP, JUST BEFORE THE HOLIDAYS TO ANNOUNCE: "HEY, I'M STRAIGHT, AND GUESS WHO'S COMING OVER FOR DINNER?" Would YOU "discriminate"?

I really was not sure what forum to post this on so I decided to put under gerneral. I am Chritian man and lately have been feeling a little wild and daring. In the restaurant last night I had a thought again about getting body art done. I would like to hear everyones thoughts about body art. What insired what you already have and what do they mean to you. What are the ladies thoughts about sexy masculin body art. I have a adventures background from serving the Navy on a carrier for 4 years, a Chev. Master Technitian for 7 years and 9 years as a local and over the road truck driver. I was thinking about have some really neat life experience art done. Just want to hear your stories and opinions. Have fun with this one (After I fallow through with this master piece I have been thinking about posting the work also what do think??)
If someone loaned you their car, and you brought it back to them with grafitti sprayed on it, wouldn't they be just a bit PO-ed? I doubt anyone will go to Hell for a tattoo, but it isn't YOUR body now, IS IT? I don't mean to sound "holier than thou"...I'm certainly not perfect...just check out my posts. But your body isn't yours. Maybe you shouldn't spray grafitti on it. Did I read that correctly? You think we DO NOT own our bodies?
Yes, my body is my own -- and no one tells me what to do with my body. I hope people have enough sense to feel the same about their bodies. Who the hell do you think owns yours? Keep in mind not everyone believes in god and antiquated theology. 
If I don't believe in god -- which is my right -- then you can't put your beliefs on me. We don't believe in the same thing, silly.
You are cool person and I wish you well! 
1) Nobody's going to hell for having tattoos, piercings, etc. You can all let out a collective sigh of relief There are things far, far worse...
2) The Bible does say not to put images on ones' body "like the heathen". TAKEN IN CONTEXT, this means that there was a godless people at the time who made it a practice of tattooing themselves. A Christian AT THAT TIME, naturally, would not identify himself/herself as one of these people by also tattooing themselves.
THEREFORE, to simply get a tattoo THESE DAYS for the sheer novelty and attention-getting factor of it will not drag you into hell.
However... I knew a girl who had some huge, lime-green tattoo (a frog, maybe?), right at the base of her spine. Someone suggested I ask her out, but I replied, "Yes, and I can see even now the chaos that would ensue when she bent over to pick up a pie pan at the church picnic!" 
1) If your body was your own, you could keep it as long as you like, correct? But this is not the case (death). 
2) Did you make/create your own body? It may be more correct to say that you were BORN INTO your body. This makes it "your" body only in the sense that you've BORROWED it.
3) If you borrow a friends' car, would you return it after having painted it a more preferred color? Would you have added a meticulously rendered mural on it? What would the true owner have to say to that? 
4) When I see someone with a cross tattoo, I wonder, "Are they trying to convince others, or themselves? What was the core motivation for getting this particular tattoo? Or do they simply think it looks cool?" If you truly believe in what the Cross stands for, do you really need an "always there" reminder? 
These may be the reasons why SOME Christians are uncomfortable with the practice of tattooing.
I can't see how merely mentioning these things is "forcing" a belief upon anyone. 
I DO NOT CLAIM TO BE PERFECT , but I do see where concerned Christian people are coming from on this subject.
Were I to get a tattoo, it would be for the purpose of simply pi**ing off the "Country Club Christians", and the like!

I think Megan Fox is very beautiful, but has really screwed up her looks with all her tattoos. It's like she's afraid no one will understand her unless her interests are worn on the OUTSIDE. However, her tattoos could be a kind of CAMOUFLAGE. However, judging from some of the goofy and immature things she's said in public, maybe she needs a GOOFY tattoo (Disney).
She is dumb hot. I would drink her bath water Okay, okay. I would too, but only with a twist of lime!
