Not picking on you, but seriously, spell check and a bit of grammar/punctuation would probably improve your results considerably. People really do look at that stuff.

Interesting, I've had exactly the opposite experience. I'm guessing I'm considerably older than you (as are the women I'm contacting) so that may have something to do with it, but I've found an invitation to meet for coffee somewhere is FAR more effective than a detailed, well thought out note tailored to the woman's profile (that latter generally getting a *zero* response rate) as an initial contact.

Hey, my dad STARTED school at 68 because it was something he always wanted but never got around to as we were growing up. He doesn't take a full class load but he'll finish up next year at the age of 74. So no, I really don't think you can be *too* old.
