I was working with FEMA through, Charley, and Hugo. The effects were very bad in florida. Katrina, I only seen the aftermath of its terror. And now with this one. It looks like the government and the states are trying to be very careful to warn early and to get everyone out before it hits. If it does build as it crosses the gulf it could be even worse than Katrina was? And that would destroy all the rebuilding and the hearts of many who lived through Katrina. Thank you for posting this so as everyone can see, be aware, and to maybe find some nice folks here who might have room to share for the ones needing to find shelter. As "ALL" the motel's and Hotel's with-in 500 miles out are BOOKED.

I know a good deal about computers but I am unsure if adding more memory will help with speeding up the load time when I turn on and off my pc. So every thing loads faster etc. So will adding more memory work ??? As I have removed most programs I don't even use and don't have any more that I can think of that I don't want to add or remove right at the moment. I dont think adding more memory would speed up the machine, it also depends on the OS that you use, plus practice defragging at least once a week, you can also add video card. I am using a 40G memory with XP, so far I can open yahoo messenger and JSH at a time

While I'm at it. If you are only going to put one sentance in your profile, you better have pictures!! I get people that are just looking for a casual encounter and don't want to post their life story, but come on!! How can you except me to reply to NOTHING!!! I have seen over 12,000,000 profiles where the whole thing was "I don't know what to write here" or "Anything you want to know, you'll have to ask." From this, I am supposed to be induced to contact somebody? And pics -- ?? My favotrite is when they have a pic of 2 or 5 or 17 people and they NEVER tell you which one is them.
