Here's the problem with wanting proof of god, the system is rigged so that proof negates faith. That is to say, if you have proof you don't need faith, if you have faith you don't need proof. There will never be tangible proof of "god", there can't be. Faith and proof cannot coexist.
Me personally, I choose to accept testable theories that result in repeatable conclusions as opposed to "believing" in, what is in my opinion, a fairytale invented by bronze age goat herders that didn't know where the sun went at night.
