I was simply using this to illustrate the point, not to point out any disagreement with you. The point is that you quoted the Constitutional qualifications to be President, whereas everyone else is misunderstanding this to mean that someone must be born on American soil.

And I'm not defending Obama. Twice he did not get my vote, and if he could run again, he would be even less likely to get my vote because he's an incompetent, dishonest disaster of a President. And he has been secretive about pretty much everything. But in 2008 Hillary Clinton and John McCain were in powerful positions and able to uncover whatever he is hiding. Politics is a dirty game, so they don't mind destroying each other in very personal ways for the power they seek. And Hillary was the media darling at the time. They wanted who they knew, not some nobody from Illinois. Obama didn't have that kind of power until he was inaugurated. So again, why did those who were more powerful at the time, who felt entitled to the Presidency because it was "their turn," not uncover any of this with the resources they had at their disposal? No one can answer that.
