and so i drain
until i don't feel pain
i use this blade
to engrave my my shame

as i dig deeper, i am feebled by the flow
of my transgressions as they compose
a perishable river that surges from my angst ridden soul
the darkness confounds me, and i lose control

in my agony, i concede
to the crestfallen eyes that once refused to see
the fate that had been destined for me
so i sit, comforted by the nothingness of my thoughts and i bleed

i bleed until i drown
i have been made deaf by the sound
of the waves sweeping me off the ground
in this ocean of death, life can not be found
