Well...from my standpoint, that's totally fair but most people join these websites but don't actually do what you usually would come here to do haha the world is upside down and its getting worse but anywho while it's sad, i guess the silver lining is you get to stay single longer which is maybe a good thing because most people take relationships too lightly nowadays 
Therapeutic, time waster, electronic addiction. addiction, not addition. couldn't edit, seems odd, still same log in session. 
haha i gotcha. I guess the main thing nowadays is people wanna stay connected while they isolate which is why they run to the internet and internet dating is more common than "in real life", also people like living a lie as in on the internet I can be whoever I wanna be or you want me to be but in real life, I'm probably a schmuck or a hobo :-/ that was harsh but that's the best way that I can bluntly put it :P Damn, I'm goin off topic now  okay back on track, dating should be easier than rocket science

I patiently repond messages before but now I learned and sorry for those who kept on sending me a message. I Most injoy here at the forum. 
Yeah, if a person constantly messages you despite you not replying then that's a sign of intense desperation and usually such people aren't what you'd call normal enough to ignite a long lasting and proper relationship with.... |

Most people login to chatrooms and these dating websites and just keep them open as a sidebar to something else that they are doing so effectively even though it shows them as online here, you get no response, moreover relationships have become so complex now that instead of just fearlessly voicing your thoughts about someone in terms of you liking them or wanting to start something with them you just blankly look at their profile and wonder "what if?" with your mouse cursor over the message or nudge buttons
 ......thoughts?
