I spent 20 years working in a lab looking at people from the inside out if you only knew the effects smoking has on your body you would never do it! without smoking you have a 20%chance of getting lung cancer and other related diseases with smoking you have an 80% put the 2 together and it is pretty mauch a done deal

Because people who smoke have given themselves a bad reputation but not having consideration for the rest of the world. That's why the govt has laws on smoking. Give you an example: Driving down the highway...smoking in your car....when you are done smoking, the cigarette is then flung out the window.... Just where exactly do you think the cigarette butt is going? Will it magically vanish into thin air? NO! It will hit the car behind you. That kind of rudeness is what makes people angry about smoking and smokers. i hate those cigarette gashes in my car, don't u? wtf?? ![]() ![]() |

personally i dont like smoking because my grandmother died fromlung cancer and had throat problems and all kinds of other health issues...because she smoked for sooooo long. as for other people, ive noticed that everyone is into a health craze. eating healthy excersizing and only taking in healthy things... hmm...thats just what i think though. if you wanna smoke...smoke. how old was your grandmother and are you sure smoking caused the issues i remember seeing and knowing a lot of people in their 70s n 80s over 40 years ago when the life expectancy was younger i truly think smoking gets blamed for more than it causes ---- by the way i am not a smoker My grandfather smoked for 70 years, ate bacon and eggs for breakfast for most of his life, and died at the ripe age of 92, from liver failure. He had a cigarette in his mouth when he went. |

Smoking doesn't bother me at all, and I've never smoked in my life. Now, if you took all the drinkers and deposited them in a vast cavern at the bottom of the ocean, that wouldn't upset me at all....

I smoked when I was young, then quit before my first child was born so my smoking would not be an influence to start. Four kids later, three out of four took smoking up on their own. So much for that.
I started again about five years ago. My choice. My body. I had one woman on this site (a non-smoker) that sent me an introduction email that started off by saying; "I'd like to get to know you better, but I can't unless you would quit smoking." Ummm, what does it say in my profile, that Im a smoker that wants to quit? ![]() ![]() |

It's obviously a personal preference, whenther you do or dont, want to be around it or not...
Very simply said though...Do not judge one because they do smoke. They are still human and I am sure there is a habit you do that would make them cringe as well |
