Synopsis of the movie "SEVEN"
Gluttony, greed, sloth, envy, wrath, pride, and lust--these are the seven deadly sins that are being punished with unimaginable cruelty and calculation by an enigmatic killer in David Fincher's bleak thriller Seven. Set in a perpetually gloomy unnamed city, the film follows Somerset (Morgan Freeman), a retiring police detective, as he experiences his final week on the job, reluctantly working with assertive newcomer Mills (Brad Pitt). When an obese man is found brutally murdered in his home, the seasoned Somerset realizes this is no ordinary killing--someone tortured him because of his appetite. Slayings that reflect the sins of greed and sloth soon follow, leading Somerset and Mills on a desperate search to find the mysterious John Doe, who is responsible for these methodical murders. As the case builds to a startling conclusion, both Somerset and Mills become more involved than they ever could have imagined.Near the conclusion the final sins to be carried out are envy & wrath.The killer leads them both to a desolate area where he has a delivery driver bring a box containing the head of B.Pitt's pregnant wife.He taunts B.Pitt with the details of how he killed her.If B.Pitt shoots him then the killers quest has been fulfilled.

I've wrestled w/my own conscience over this & I'm curious as to what U would do if U were in B.Pitt's situation.Would U kill this psychopath or would U take him into custody & let the wheels of justice be carried out?

Great movie. I'd pull the trigger I think.

Well depends, if it was my Ex's head in the box, I'd hug him and set him free! But the other way, loving wife's head, I'd prolly beat the hell outta him, then shoot each limb a few times and let the sucker bleed to death.

Logically- take him into custody

Emotionally- Kill the SOB

Oh I have 2 Lilys..... and they fight constantly in my tiny little head... most of the time logic takes control.... MOST of the time....

at the end of the movie, (pit) does shoot him so there's your answer. Me, I'd shoot too. Be damned any stupid self fufilling prophsey. Yeah I know I spelled that wrong
