I totally 100% agree..a lot of people want to be on your friends list because they think if your page gets a lot of traffic then theirs will too |

Seems to me all the girls in my area on here are shallow. I used to email them with a personalized approach not some garbage hey whats up and most ignored me. The only reason i see is because they didn't like the way I looked.

I have many that..Everyonce in a while we send a hello and how r u..but not always... It's a compliment..regardless...thats why they stay on mine..thats why I don't delete the ones I don't chat with.. So many ppl to talk to ... can't keep up... simple as that..just my view point...

Shallow people are the overwhelming majority of the population, in toto, anyway -- and even moreso on a dating/social site. It kind of goes with the territory. Look at the popularity of MySpace. Most of those people are cardboard cutouts pretending to be slightly better cardboard cutouts pretending to be real people. I hope MySpace has plenty of fire extinguishers over there.

Just "decline" them. They are pathetic wretches and having these "friends" somehow makes them feel like they are somebody/something.
They're the ones that you'll see whining in the "I'm a victim" threads....

I just got the same thing about an hour ago, thought of
suggesting it be required to send at least one email to the one your requesting from. It kind of puts you on the spot and makes me feel like I would be rude to decline the request. I don't consider it shallow just kind of an uncomfortable feeling. |

About everyone of my friends are people I met here on the forums who kid around with me and don't live within my 50 mile dating fence. It's easier to keep up with them...don't have to look far for a buddy.

You're a genuine person who speaks her mind and you seem to have a good head on your shoulders. I really like how you don't take people's **** and how everyone treats you bad yet you're not bitter. I've given up on the local people on here cuz they're shallow. |
