Topic: what would it be of me? | |
---|---|
When my Lord came to this world. He was very harsh towards those who thought of themselves as righteous such as pharisees and scribes. And He hung out most of the time with those who were considered sinners such as prostitutes and publicans. We know this through the Bible (the Holy word of God.)
=============================================================================== Hypothetical scenario: What would have happened if my Lord would have not come in those days, but now in 2008. Where would i be? Would my Lord hang out with me? or would i be one of those who thought of themselves as righteous? or would i be one of those considered as sinner? ============================================================================== I just pray that when my Lord come back the second time He consider me as His friend. Amen. |

This makes me think about something i was asked/told as a kid...i once did something wrong and was asked if i would do that if Jesus were to walk through the door and at that time i said no...
But,now if jesus were to walk through the door and i had a bottle of jack in my hand i sure as hell would not put it down, simply because he knows i'm doing it anyway... to your point i also hope he would consider me a friend.. |

Your heart shines through the questions you ask that we all have at times. I am confident he already calls you his friend, brother. |

Interesting scenario. I believe he would be my friend. I do my best to serve my lord and to serve my fellow man/woman. If he thought I was righteous or a sinner I hope he would show me the error of my ways. If I refused to change then I could understand him not wanting to hang out with me or to be my friend.
